What is a mental performance golf coach, anyway?

I’m glad you asked. Think of it like a life coach for your golf game. You have big goals, like breaking par, 80, 90 or even 100 for the first time. You’d like to win more weekend matches, look good at scrambles for work. Or maybe you’d like to bring home a trophy or cash winnings from competitions. You know what to do, but you need encouragement and support. Or maybe you just need someone to take a look at what you’re currently doing and offer a different perspective.

Hi, my name is John Lemmon, and, if you’re ready, we’re going to improve your golf game.

Who I work with:

-High school student athletes who want to make the college team

-College athletes who want to rise up the rankings or play tour golf after school

-Men and women who want to enjoy golf by shooting record low scores

I offer personalized one-on-one training in person, over video, and via my online lessons so that you can improve your golf game and lower your scores. I’m also here to help you define your dreams, targets and goals.

We will create a specific practice plan to achieve what you want. Depending on the number of sessions we have, we will be able to update and adjust the plan while tracking your progress and results. No more wondering where you went wrong, or why your score sticks stubbornly within the same five strokes.

In Person Lessons:

One hour in-person lessons are a great way to improve your mental game and swing at the same time. I will diagnose your swing and give you drills and tips to improve your action. Not only will I help you improve your ball striking but we will work on specific mental performance lessons that you can take right to the course.

Improving your mental game and your swing will give you the best tools to lower your scores quickly. Each lesson will build on the last with a post email follow up to make sure you retain what you learned and know what to work on.

In person lessons are available locally.

Video Sessions

A video session with me gives you a chance to stay accountable, ask timely questions, and stay on track for your biggest goals. If you don’t have one yet, we can even create a golf-specific workout schedule to keep you limber and help you avoid injury.

In my arsenal, I also have specific tips for helping you play better under pressure. (The same tactics I used when I won the Dayton City Amateur.) If a match or tournament is in your future, let me step in and guide you through the best preparation to help you play your best.

Golf is a mental game, and when you work with me you will have the tools you need to shoot your best scores no matter your age, skill level, or physical ability. Improvement happens fast when you’re following my personalized-to-you program.
